Accor Hotels has recently announced a massive room sale with some 50,000 rooms available at $50 per night for December 1, 2006 through to January 31, 2007. The sale is applicable across their range of accommodation throughout Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Like most good things, I'd imagine most of the cheap rooms are gone. And unfortunately, their recently designed website doesn't make it easy to find any that may be left.
