Tiger Airways Begins Cheap Flights in Australia
With the launch of the inaugural flight less than 12 hours away (the first flight is 7:00 AM on Nov 23), Tiger Airways is ready to ignite a fire under the likes of Qantas, Virgin Blue and Jetstar.
While most of the dirt cheap airfares are gone you can still pick up a flight out of Melbourne to Adelaide, Hobart, Launceston or Newcastle for only $49.95 or from Melbourne to the Gold Coast for $59.95 AU. Want to go further then try Darwin for $139.95.
Sure you have to pay for the extras, but it's still cheap and a better deal than Qantas.
