Since you can't officially get your hands on the iPhone, Apple has recently released the iPod touch, an iPhone look a like without the phone. This little baby does almost everythying the iPhone does with style and pazazz.

Just when you think you've acquired all the latest tech gear and finally caught up to your friends Apple holds another major press conference to announce the latest and greatest tech toys. Not only does it play video and have a wider screen but it's $80 less than the second one you just bought last month.

Apple's 3rd generation iPod Nano now sells for $199.00 for the 4GB version and $289 for the iPod Nano 8GB version (which also comes in multiple cool colours).

Damn you Steve Jobs. You did it again. You made my iPod Nano obsolete. Now I have to buy a new one. Ooops, I'm going to do it again. I'm going to waste my money on another iPod.

While I've yet to make the purchase, the simplicity of the new Apple TV from Apple is pure Apple genius. Based on the numerous store demos that I've forced my kids to sit through already it really does appear to work as easily as the marketing folks say. Whether I'll be able to get it to show any of my favourite programs sittong on my PC is another story.

At $449.00 it's not cheap and like many Apple products you're not likely to find it sold at a discount. But if you have TV or other media on your computer and would rather watch it on your TV rather than your PC then the Apple TV looks like the new gadget just for you.
